I spent a few minutes noodling around with Jammy while connected to a standard amplifier, and was impressed by both how light and comfortable the guitar was to use, as well as how it more or less felt and sounded like a standard guitar.

In case you’re wondering, I couldn’t detect any latency playing the two guitar chords I know. Still, as far as I can tell, there isn’t anything else quite like it on the market.

Ever wanted a guitar that can fit snugly into your backpack? Well, a new guitar called the Jammy might be just what you've been looking for.

The Jammy is a travel guitar, but it’s also a gadget. The 17-inch-long guitar splits into two parts, uses real guitar strings, and has 15 frets, which is enough for most practice, and more than you’ll ever need for campfire strumming.

If you travel, but want to practice guitar, there are options. But I really don’t trust TSA and the airlines not to bust a nice acoustic travel axe. Jammy has come up with a solution: a digital guitar with real strings that comes apart.

As a guitar player that has given a fair share of these types of instruments a try over the years, the longer neck is certainly a welcomed addition, especially with the ability to split it up into a travel bag.
